Matters needing attention in the operation of down-the-hole drilling rig

The down-the-hole drilling rig is a percussive rotary drilling rig. Its internal structure is different from that of a general rock drill. Its gas distribution and piston reciprocating mechanism are independent, namely the hammer. The front end is directly connected to the drill bit, and the rear end is connected to the drill rod. When rock drilling, the hammer dives into the hole, and the piston (hammer) in the hammer reciprocates to strike the shank through the gas distribution device (valve), so that the drill bit impacts the rock at the bottom of the hole. Matters needing attention in the operation of down-the-hole drilling rig:
1. At any time, check the connection of screws, nuts and joints of each part of the air and water (when dust is removed with water) and the fastening of the frame and the host.
2. Observe the working condition of the lubricator at any time, and check the lubrication condition of the wind motor and hammer.
3. Regularly clean the hammer and wind motor with gasoline or diesel, and observe the damage of the motor blades.
4. Reversal is not allowed when drilling to prevent the drill pipe from tripping.
5. When the machine stops working in a short period of time, give a small amount of air pressure to avoid the sand from entering the hammer. If it stops working for a long time, the hammer needs to be lifted 1-2 meters from the bottom of the hole. Fix it again.
6. At work, pay attention to whether the sound of the hammer and the operation of the machine are normal. If any abnormal phenomenon is found, the machine should be shut down immediately for inspection.
7. When adding a new drill pipe, pay special attention to the cleaning of the drill pipe to avoid sand mixing into the hammer to damage the parts or cause a shutdown accident. (Usually use compressed air to blow and wash several times).
8. When there is water on the working surface, use a large-diameter drill bit to open the hole, then insert the casing, and make the casing 100-200 mm long to expose the ground to prevent slag mud from entering the hole.
