Carbide drill bits are the same as cars, they need correct use and maintenance. The car is well maintained, no problem for 400,000 kilometers. If the maintenance is not good, 10,000 kilometers will cause the car to be scrapped. Let's take a look at the maintenance of cemented carbide DTH drill bits.
Any product requires regular maintenance. Only by doing every maintenance carefully, can you be handy when you need to use it, and the same is true for cemented carbide DTH hammer bits.
However, the maintenance of the DTH hammer after maintenance is much simpler. It is only necessary to determine whether the internal piston moves well and whether the lubrication is appropriate. If the down-the-hole hammer is used for a long time, you need to maintain the down-the-hole hammer according to the following methods:
1. Replace all "O" rings, check valve seals and springs inside the down-the-hole hammer to ensure that the down-the-hole hammer reduces air consumption.
2. Ensure good lubrication of the internal moving parts (pistons) of the down-the-hole hammer, and remove all sharp corners and burrs formed during use (it is recommended to use oilstone to grind off the sharp corners and burrs of the piston).
2. Make sure that the check valve is unblocked and the return position is correct.
4. The abrasion of the outer casing and the cylinder should be replaced in time as needed.
5. Install it correctly in accordance with the installation sequence of the hard alloy DTH hammer drill bit manual or installation diagram.
6. Keep it properly.
