1. The outer surface of the outer flat drill pipe is smooth, and the rotation resistance is small. It is suitable for the hard drilling of the whole hole body and can realize the automatic screwing and unloading of the drill pipe. When encountering soft stratum or broken zone, because the slag discharge channel is unstable, the slag discharge requirement cannot be met, the drilling efficiency is low, and it is easy to cause accidents of holding and buried drilling.
2. Spiral grooving drill pipe is to process spiral grooves on the drilling rod body of the outer flat drill pipe. It is suitable for drilling the whole hole body with hard stratum or with a small proportion of soft stratum. It basically solves the problem of slag discharge, and the drilling efficiency is relatively high. The flat drill rod is taller and can be unscrewed automatically. Machining spiral grooves on the rod body requires a higher wall thickness of the drill rod, which increases the cost and is susceptible to torsion and fracture. The spiral groove is narrow, and the slag discharge effect is not obvious when the simple soft formation is drilled, and even the holding and burying of the drill are caused.
3. Twisted drill pipe, which is welded with spiral blades on the outer flat drill pipe body. It is suitable for relatively simple soft ground. It has the characteristics of good slag discharge effect and fast drilling speed. The outer diameter size does not match the specifications of the drill holder, and the drill rig self-unloading cannot be used. Even if a quick screw-unloading method has been developed and good results have been achieved, its screw-unloading efficiency is still inferior to that of the outer flat drill pipe. The blades are thin, low in strength, non-wearing, and costly to use. The most important thing is that their drilling resistance is large, which is easy to cause drilling deflection, and is limited by the diameter of the drill rod, the type of drilling rig, and the conditions of the roadway.
