Correct use of drill rod
Hole depth is the basic standard to measure the quality of boreholes, and it is also one of the most important standards. In order to accurately determine the location of the stratum, the hole depth record of the borehole must match the actual hole depth. Otherwise, the depth, thickness and spatial position of the stratum will be wrong, and the structural form will be distorted, especially the thin layer will be more prominent, which will reduce the accuracy and quality of geological data and seriously affect the survey design and construction.
Therefore, during the drilling process, both the cataloger and the captain made drilling records (drill pipe data) to ensure that the drilling is at the drilling depth and the final hole depth.
After the drilling rig enters the site, the used drill pipes and drill tools are measured and recorded, and the used drill pipes are stacked in order from long to short, and long drill pipes must be used first.
Even if the driller cannot know the specific drill rod length, he can determine the order of the drill rods by comparing the length of the drill rods. Through such a drilling sequence, the drilling depth can be calculated concisely by the number of drill rods in the hole after correcting the hole depth.
Drill pipe is a tool accessory for mining consumables. The high-efficiency spiral drill pipe used in coal seam drilling auger is generally made of high-quality carbon steel. It is suitable for drilling rigs and is an ideal and indispensable tool for coal mining. There are two types of high-efficiency auger rods: dry type and wet type. It is used in conjunction with various pneumatic anti-outburst drilling rigs, adopts spiral drilling technology, and has the characteristics of fast drilling speed, good drilling shape, and high drilling efficiency. Compared with the traditional drilling speed, it is much faster. The impact of drilling construction on the excavation schedule during coal seam excavation is reduced to a low level, and it is widely used in coal mines, gypsum mines and other drilling and mining.
