Common troubleshooting methods for down-the-hole hammer
Common troubleshooting methods:
Fault (1): Insufficient lubricating oil or lack of lubrication leads to premature wear or damage.
Reason: The lubricating oil cannot reach the impact structure of the hammer.
Remedy: Check the lubrication device, inject oil from the top of the hammer or increase the oil content of the compressed air.
Fault (2): The impact structure does not work or does not work properly.
reason:
1. The air path is blocked;
2. The gap between the piston and the inner and outer cylinders, the piston and the valve seat is too large;
3. The hammer is blocked by dirt;
4. Piston or drill head tail pipe is broken.
Method of exclusion:
1. Check the air pressure and check whether the air path is unblocked;
2. Disassemble the dth hammer, check the wear and tear, and replace the worn parts;
3. Disassemble the dth hammer and clean all internal parts of the hammer;
4. Disassemble the dth hammer and replace the piston or drill bit.
Trouble (three): The drill bit and the clamp sleeve fall off.
Reason: The hammer did not rotate right when it was working.
Remedy: hook up the falling parts, and make sure to turn to the right when drilling and lifting.
